    Aims and Scope:

Journal of Microencapsulation is a well-established journal devoted to the preparation, properties and uses of individually encapsulated small particles. Its scope extends beyond microcapsules to all other small particulate systems which involve preparative manipulation. These forms find a wide variety of medical, biological, industrial and research applications. The journal covers the chemistry of encapsulation materials; the physics of release through the capsule wall; the techniques of preparation; content and storage; and the many uses to which microcapsules are put. Also found in every issue of the journal is an extensive information and reference section comprising patent briefing and literature alerts listings.

The term "microsphere" should be used to describe, homogeneous, monolithic microparticulate systems and the term "microcapsule" to describe systems where there is a distinct coating on the microparticle. In cases of doubt, the term "microparticle" should be used.

    1. Introduction

It is essential that authors prepare their manuscripts according to established specifications. Failure to follow them may result in your paper being delayed and the effectiveness of the search capabilities offered by electronic delivery will depend upon the care used by authors in preparing their manuscripts. Therefore, contributors are strongly encouraged to read these instructions carefully before preparing a manuscript for submission, and to check the manuscript for compliance with these notes before submitting it for publication.

    3. General Guidelines

Journal of Microencapsulation considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to Journal of Microencapsulation, that they have not been published already, or that they under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. Authors who fail to adhere to this condition will be charged with all costs which Journal of Microencapsulation incurs and their papers will not be published.
, 百拇医药
Contributions to Journal of Microencapsulation must report original research and will be subjected to review by referees.

The Journal has no free colour pages within its annual page allowance. Authors who propose publishing figures in colour should consult Taylor & Francis to agree a financial contribution to additional colour reproduction costs. Figures which appear in black-and-white in the print edition of the Journal will appear in colour in the online edition, assuming colour originals are supplied.

Abstracts of 100 - 150 words are required for all papers submitted and should precede the text of a paper - see Notes on Style. Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text; acknowledgments; appendixes (as appropriate); references; table(s) with caption(s) (on individual sheets); figure caption(s) (as a list). Section headings should be concise and numbered sequentially, using a decimal system for subsections. Authors must adhere to SI units. Units are not italicised.
